Way down in the South Atlantic Ocean, off the eastern coast of South America, lie the Falkland Islands. Remote, windswept, unique, barren, beautiful - the Falklands are all of these things and much more. Incredible wildlife, independent people, fresh clean air and room to breathe it in...

Composed of two main islands (East, where the only town and capital Stanley lies, and the wild and beautiful West - yes, we're biased!) also many smaller ones which are almost all uninhabited, the Islands are a British possession and proud of the fact.

Way out on the western side of West Falkland and far from any real road (though one is being built!) you will find us, Clive and Rosemary Wilkinson, on our farm. We wanted to share this special place with you, and hope you will enjoy exploring this website. Whether your interests are farming, alternative energy, dyeing, handspinning, handknitting (or any other of the many woolcrafts), the Falkland Islands as a whole, or just seeing how other folks live, you will find something here to interest you.  And we hope this will also mean that you will keep coming back to see what's new. We will be updating it when time allows, (see What's New for the latest happenings) - so do visit us often.  At present the site is too complex and some information is repeated in more than one section.  Please forgive that and we will try to streamline the site at some future date.

Come on in and follow the green sheep (why green? the answer's inside) - and feel free to wander around our farm!

Enjoy the exquisite illustrations by talented local artist Sonia Felton and photos by Rosemary.
